What Our Customers Say

"I would recommend this Veterinarian (Dr.Ashman) to anyone. My puppy had his neuter and extraction of a retained deciduous tooth. My Puppy is not a patient of the practice, this was our first time here. Dr.Ashman did a pre-surgical examination-including a dental and manual joint exam. He found my Puppy had a retained tooth. He offered to remove the tooth for a nominal fee including it as part of his neuter. My Puppy stayed overnight(at no additional fee) at the facility and was returned in good spirits. He has been having a very good recovery and acting like his usual self. The next morning the surgical area looked so dry and good. No swelling or discomfort from his tooth extraction. The office staff is also very helpful, including helping me submit billing for his tooth extraction to our Pet Ins. This office is a great community resource and Dr.Ashman has decades of experience. He is also one of the last few Vets committed to helping as many pets as he is able too, helping many Rescue Organization and one of the last remaining Vets who participate in the NJ State Spay/Neuter program. They also have a separate cat and dog entrance, cats and dogs are separated in the waiting area. A short ride out of the surrounding counties for a more affordable spay/neuter or surgical procedure. Very Positive Experience Here!"

"The staff was unbelievable and very loving to my kitties both Diamond and smokes who are sisters And needed to be spaded and get their shots. No stuffy attitudes here, as you would sometimes experience in other drβs offices. Everyone has a happy and pleasant vibes and good sense of humor. You could just tell that they all get along and they all like their jobs
The waiting room and examining rooms and even the restroom all super clean no smell of other animals, Which I have experienced with other animal hospitals in the past, this one was super clean.
Thereβs no reason not to take your pet to this hospital. My ride to them was a 38 minute ride and it was worth every second
I would recommend them highly to all of you in need of a good Veterinarian doctor and hospital."

"I REALLY wanted to love it here. Really really really wanted to.
The receptionist was nice, the Vet was nice. The visit price was fantastic BUT... I left there feeling like the worst doggy mom on the planet. Went here for our 9.5 year old husky lab mix and requested an overall check up, and mentioned a couple concerns.
The vet did address the concerns and then proceed to cut her nails. (Which we had also requested.)
This is where the good went terrible lightening quick.
He was cutting her nails while she was standing in the room. I offered to get her up on the table but he assured it was fine to work at her level.
Nothing was fine.
He was clearly rushing through with her and she was already very very anxious.
In the process of this, he made all four of her paws bleed. One of them pretty badly. She actually screamed and was in pain- obvious pain. He brushed it off and said oh that didn't hurt!
He said at least 3 times that the room looked like a murder scene. (He was right. It did. )
For 2 days she was limping.
I'm really just very upset at the entire experience here. Yes, she's 9.5. Which was also mentioned a few times. But she is still active, playful and deserving of the best care possible.
I wish that care had been given. I can't change it but I certainly won't repeat it. We only just switched to this vet because it is SO much closer to home. I guess we will just continue to medicate our pup and go further for the best care."

"As you will see below, some of these animals have been to, or are currently housed there until they find good homes. There's no better time than Christmas to adopt a lonely animal & give them a warm, happy"
